The Home Depot Unveils Skills Explorers Program for Young Tradespeople
The Home Depot has launched its new 'Skills Explorers' initiative in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Scouting America. The program aims to provide young people with hands-on experience in skilled trades such as carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing.
On September 17th, 2026, representatives from all three organizations gathered in Atlanta to officially launch the initiative. Jenni Girtman from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America was present at the event.
The Skills Explorers program will allow young people to explore different trades and develop skills that can be used in future careers. This is a key part of The Home Depot's commitment to supporting education and career development in the skilled trades sector.
