The Willows Shopping Center Nears Completion in Cookeville
The long-awaited shopping center, The Willows, is finally nearing completion in Cookeville, Tennessee. Anchored by Target and Home Depot, the development will bring a range of retail and dining options to the area.
Target's 128,000-square-foot store, which includes a Starbucks Café and CVS Pharmacy, is set to open on October 11, 2026. The Home Depot store will host a grand opening event on October 8, 2026, preceded by a Neighborhood Night on October 7.
The Willows' developer, CHM Construction, has stated that the project will come online in phases as individual tenants complete construction and open their businesses. Officials believe the development will draw in customers from far and wide, with Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter noting that it 'opens us up to a lot of other retail possibilities.'
