Tortoise Invests Heavily in IBM, Joining Ranks of Increased Stakeholders

Tortoise Investment Management LLC has acquired 2,550 shares of International Business Machines Corporation's stock in the second quarter, valued at approximately $717,000.

This is not the only investment firm to have increased its stake in IBM. Brighton Jones LLC lifted its stake by 12.4% in the fourth quarter, while Sivia Capital Partners LLC increased its stake by 10.6% during the same period.

Other institutional investors and hedge funds have also made adjustments to their holdings of IBM's stock, with Vivaldi Capital Management LP lifting its position by 11.6% in the second quarter.

The company has a market capitalization of $218.04 billion, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 20.54 and a beta of 0.71.
