Tower of Terror Refurbishment: Scaffolding Removal Reveals Facade Work
The refurbishment of Disney's Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios has reached a new milestone. Scaffolding that was installed around the attraction in early July has been partially removed, revealing some of the refurbished facade on one side of the building.
The scaffolding installation began above the gift shop and later moved to the front of the facade facing the rest of the park. The ride itself remains operational with gaps in the scaffolding allowing guests to view from the windows.
A small portion of the scaffolding has been removed, showing a weathered and cracked look on one side of the building by the attraction and gift shop exit. Cut-out squares reveal a yellow layer underneath, giving a glimpse into the renovation work.
