Tower of Terror's Exterior Makeover Reaches New Heights
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios is undergoing an exterior refurbishment. Scaffolding has been installed to reach the top of the front facade, with crews starting work in early July. The scaffolding leaves gaps for the ride's windows, ensuring that guest views are not obstructed.
Crews have been repainting parts of the facade above the gift shop, including two decorative friezes on the center roof that now sport a fresh coat of pink paint on their borders. There is primer on several railings and balconies, with some areas already having a new coat of pink paint.
The refurbishment continues with normal ride operations unaffected by the exterior work. Guests can still experience the thrill of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror while crews complete the exterior makeover.
