Trailblazer Community Marks Two Decades of Growth and Innovation at Salesforce
Salesforce is celebrating two decades of its Trailblazer Community, which has grown to include 23 million members. The community was formed in 2006 with online forums and coffee shop meetups for Salesforce admins. Over time, it evolved into a full-fledged organization with its own recognition programs, conferences, and learning platform.
The community has not only helped shape Salesforce products but also created an entire ecosystem of jobs. According to Gloria Ramchandani, VP of the Trailblazer Community, many early members have gone on to start their own companies, contributing to economic growth for Salesforce worldwide.
Today, Trailblazers are not just limited to admins and developers; new roles such as forward deploy engineers, Agentforce architects, and AI builders are emerging. Ramchandani notes that what makes a Trailblazer is not just technical skills but also a personality trait, someone who's willing to go first, learn, and connect with others.
Salesforce is providing its Trailblazers with a wealth of products and features to further their use of AI technology. This includes more than 60 MCP tools and custom servers, over 30 coding skills, and over 4,000 published APIs. The company is also exploring new roles such as agent managers or AI builders.
