Trent Hitchcock Named First Cruise Director of Disney Believe
The Disney Cruise Line is gearing up for a significant milestone with the upcoming launch of its newest ship, the Disney Believe. Tomorrow, a livestream event will reveal more details about the vessel, but one key figure has already been announced: Trent Hitchcock, who will serve as the first Cruise Director of the Disney Believe.
Hitchcock, a long-time Disney Cruise Line cast member, has nearly two decades of experience with the company. He has worked on every DCL vessel except the Disney Adventure and previously launched the Disney Destiny. His involvement with the Disney Believe begins now, even though its maiden voyage is still a year away. Hitchcock expressed his excitement about being part of the ship's development from an early stage, noting that he will travel to the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, next year.
As Cruise Director, Hitchcock will oversee the entertainment aspects of the ship, including deck parties, fireworks at sea, and Broadway-style shows. He highlighted the pride he feels in leading the entertainment operations and the joy of seeing guests, especially his own children, experience the storytelling aboard the ship. Hitchcock called his role an "honor and a privilege," as he prepares to close the Wish class with the Disney Believe.
Fans of Disney Cruise Line can look forward to more information during tomorrow's livestream event. Additionally, the Disney Believe recently completed its keel-laying ceremony, marking another step toward its launch.
