Trex Names Former POOLCORP Exec Brian Taylor as Chief Commercial Officer

Trex Co., a company that manufactures composite decking and railing products, has appointed Brian Taylor as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this role, Taylor will lead the company's commercial organization, overseeing sales, marketing, and information technology. This appointment is effective immediately.

Taylor joins Trex from POOLCORP, where he served as Vice President of Sales for North America. During his tenure at POOLCORP, he led commercial strategy and execution across a multi-billion-dollar business, driving initiatives such as sales transformation, pricing optimization, national accounts, and digital sales platforms.

Prior to POOLCORP, Taylor spent 24 years with Sherwin-Williams Co., where he held various leadership positions in sales and marketing. He served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales for the company's $6.8 billion Performance Coatings Group, leading initiatives that accelerated growth, improved profitability, advanced digital capabilities, and enhanced commercial integration across multiple business units.
