Tritax Big Box REIT Completes Massive Amazon-Filled Logistics Facility
Tritax Big Box REIT has completed a massive logistics facility at Symmetry Park in Kettering, measuring 1 million sq ft. The building is pre-let to Amazon on a 20-year lease with rent reviews linked to an index every five years.
The development secures £9.8 million in annual rental income and delivers a yield on cost at the top end of its 6% to 8% guidance range, according to the company's RNS announcement.
The facility has an EPC A rating, BREEAM Excellent certification, and meets Net Zero Carbon in Construction standards. This marks the completion of all three committed buildings at the 136-acre scheme, bringing total developed space there to 1.6 million sq ft.
