Triumph Capital Management significantly increased its holdings in International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) during the second quarter, purchasing an additional 3,867 shares to bring its total to 5,444. This represents a 245.2% increase from the previous quarter and values the company's stake at $1,531,000.
The investment firm is not alone in its enthusiasm for IBM, as several other institutional investors have also increased their positions in the company during the second quarter. BlackRock Inc., Bank of America Corp DE, Bank of New York Mellon Corp, Norges Bank, and Legal & General Group Plc all purchased new stakes in IBM worth billions of dollars.
IBM's stock price opened at $243.14 on Friday, with a market cap of $229.07 billion and a P/E ratio of 21.57. The company has a debt-to-equity ratio of 1.63 and a quick ratio of 0.74.
