Truist Stands Firm on Salesforce Despite Growth Concerns
Truist Securities maintained its Buy rating on Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) and set a $280 price target despite concerns about the company's second-half organic growth inflection. The firm cited the stock's valuation at 12 times calendar year 2027 estimated free cash flow as pointing to an interesting risk/reward.
The analyst noted that ongoing market concerns include long-term model achievement, acquisitions that muddy the picture, and the potential for the stock to be a value trap. However, Truist expects improving organic growth based on favorable net new annual order value trends.
Citizens has also reiterated a Market Outperform rating with a $315 price target, highlighting improved industry checks for Salesforce's second-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings report. Oppenheimer and Cantor Fitzgerald maintain positive outlooks on the company's stock as well.
