According to Joe Gebbia, the U.S. Chief Design Officer and co-founder of Airbnb, America.gov is powered by Google's Gemini and Elon Musk's Grok, and has been trained on official government sources. The initiative aims to increase the use of AI in government and reduce restrictions on the technology.
In related news, Google has extended its contract with the General Services Administration for its Gemini platform, which will now last until November 15th. This deal includes discounted pricing for federal agencies and is part of a broader effort to promote the use of AI in government services.
