Trump Admin's Mail Voting Rules Criticized as 'Careless'

A whistleblower report warns that the new system could result in tens of thousands of ballots failing to reach voters before the November midterms. The report claims that the Postal Service is scrambling to build a new computer system to determine whether to deliver mail ballots issued by state election officials, but this process has been rushed and is unlikely to be accurate.

Aguilar pointed out that Nevada, which sends mail ballots to all registered voters, will begin sending mail ballots to out-of-state voters on September 18. He expressed his doubts about the Postal Service's ability to implement the new rules and suggested that private companies like FedEx and UPS could be used as an alternative.
