Trump Announces $Tens-of-Billions Deal for Boeing Aircraft Exports
US President Donald Trump announced that Turkey and Bangladesh have agreed to purchase 111 Boeing aircraft, with options for an additional 50 planes. This major deal is expected to boost US exports and support tens of thousands of American jobs.
The purchases are valued at tens of billions of dollars and will see the two countries' flag carriers, Turkish Airlines and Biman Bangladesh Airlines, receive new Boeing aircraft. The agreement follows support from US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and the Department of Commerce.
