U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Canadian private jet maker Bombardier will no longer be allowed to sell its planes in the United States unless it starts manufacturing there.

'NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES! Their products aren’t good enough!' Trump said on Truth Social.

Bombardier spends over $2.5 billion with U.S. suppliers each year and has a significant presence in the country, including 3,500 American employees and a network of 2,800 suppliers across the U.S.

According to aerospace analyst Richard Aboulafia, most Bombardier private jets use U.S.-made engines, which are produced by Honeywell Aerospace and GE Aerospace.
