Trump Hails Boeing Deals as Boost to American Manufacturing

President Donald Trump has hailed Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick's role in Boeing Co.'s (NYSE:BA) major aircraft deals with Turkish Airlines and Bangladesh's Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

According to Trump, it was a 'big day' for domestic manufacturing as the two airlines announced purchases totaling 111 Boeing Airplanes, with options for 50 more, following support from Lutnick and the Department of Commerce.

The total value of these deals is expected to generate 'tens of billions of dollars,' with 'huge' U.S. exports supporting 'tens of thousands of American Jobs.'
