Trump Slams Chevron CEO Over Omission of Praise for Fossil Fuel Policies
President Donald Trump recently criticized Chevron Corp. Chief Executive Officer Mike Wirth for failing to praise his administration's pro-fossil fuel policies in an interview with Fox Business Network.
During the interview, Chevron reported a record-breaking profit of $12 billion, or about $132 million per day, in the second quarter due to soaring crude prices and refining margins caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz amid the US-Iran war.
Trump called on oil companies, including Chevron, to reduce pump prices 'DOWN, NOW!'
