Nicole Saphier, President Trump's nominee for surgeon general, has disclosed investments in several major companies including Philip Morris International and beverage giants Monster Beverage Corp., Coca Cola Co., and Pepsi Co.
Saphier is required to divest or partially sell her shares in these companies as well as other pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry leaders such as Eli Lilly, Biogen, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Merck, AbbVie, and more.
