Trump Unloads on Stocks, Buys Up Again in June Trading Spree
US President Donald Trump made over 1,000 securities trades in June, according to his financial disclosure. The transactions involved notable companies such as Berkshire Hathaway, Visa, and Mastercard. The White House maintains that there are no conflicts of interest due to the independent management of Trump's investments.
The President's son, Eric Trump, has said the assets were in a blind trust. In 2025, Trump made more than 21,000 securities trades, often in bursts tied to market events he created. The total value of the trades he made in 2025 was between $600 million and $1.86 billion.
On June 18, Trump sold between $1 million and $5 million worth of shares of both META and Motorola, but snapped up the same range of shares in each of Berkshire Hathaway, Cintas, Visa, and Mastercard that same day.
The largest transaction was a June 22 sale of between $5 million and $25 million of shares in a Vanguard Group Inc. exchange-traded fund. Trump also bought shares on June 23 and June 24 after the US and Iran agreed to a peace deal on June 14.
