Trump's Investment Account Sees Over 1,156 Transactions in July
Former U.S. President Trump's investment account executed over 1,156 securities transactions in July, totaling between $79 million and $270 million, according to his latest financial disclosure.
The trades included selling up to $25 million each in Microsoft (MSFT) and Amazon (AMZN) shares, as well as multiple trades in SpaceX (SPCX), Tesla (TSLA), and bonds. Trump also adjusted positions in exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Trump's account made significant allocations to funds and fixed-income assets, purchasing bond-focused ETFs and selling certain U.S. Treasury-related ETFs. The transactions were not solely one-way sales, with the account repurchasing Microsoft shares on July 23.
The White House stated that Trump's stock and bond portfolio is managed by an independent third-party financial institution, and neither Trump nor his family can determine the timing of asset purchases or sales.
