U.S. President Donald Trump has significantly increased his stock trading activity during his second stint in the White House, with over 1,100 trades made in July alone.
According to regulatory filings, Trump's investment portfolio sold as much as $25 million worth of Amazon (AMZN) and Microsoft (MSFT) shares on July 20. This sale marked one of the largest transactions in his portfolio for the month, totaling a combined $270 million in trades.
The White House has stated that Trump's stock and bond portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions, with all holdings maintained in discretionary accounts and invested through computer-based model portfolios.
