Visa shares are trading higher Monday after President Donald Trump's investment accounts purchased millions of dollars worth of Visa stock in June. According to a financial disclosure, Trump's accounts engaged in over 1,000 separate securities trades between $78.1 million and $263.1 million, with a significant stake added in Visa.

The purchase was made on June 18, when Trump's accounts sold between $1 million and $5 million worth of Meta and Motorola shares to buy into Visa, Berkshire Hathaway, Cintas, and Mastercard. This move drew investor attention as it provides insight into how one of the world's most closely watched public figures is positioning his own money.

Visa's technical picture supports the bullish tone around the stock, with shares trading above every major trend line. The 20-day average is 3.8% above the 50-day average, and momentum indicators suggest buying pressure is winning out over selling pressure.
