Turkish Airlines has made a significant investment in its fleet by ordering up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX jets. The carrier placed a firm order for 100 of these aircraft, while also securing options for an additional 50 jets.

This deal makes it the largest single Boeing narrowbody order in Turkish Airlines' history and is expected to support capacity growth as the airline continues to expand its network.

The new aircraft will be primarily deployed on domestic and short- and medium-haul international routes, with some substitution rights for the larger 737-10 model also secured. This will allow Turkish Airlines to increase capacity on routes with stronger demand and improve operational flexibility.
