Turkish Airlines Lands Major Order for Up to 150 Boeing Jets
Turkish Airlines has finalized an order for up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The agreement was signed in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The order consists of 100 firm orders for the Boeing 737-8 and options for 50 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with conversion rights to the Boeing 737-10. This is Turkish Airlines’ largest-ever order for Boeing single-aisle aircraft.
Turkish Airlines Chairman Murat Şeker stated that the new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft will bring greater efficiency and flexibility to their operations, supporting their extensive network from their Istanbul hub.
