Turkish Airlines Orders Up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX Aircraft

Turkish Airlines has finalized an agreement with Boeing to purchase up to 150 737 MAX aircraft, marking its largest-ever order for a single-aisle plane. The deal includes a firm order for 100 737-8 planes and options for an additional 50 planes.

The agreement also includes substitution rights for the 737-10, allowing Turkish Airlines to adjust capacity according to growing passenger demand across its network.

Murat Şeker, chairman of the board for the airline, stated that this order is a significant step in the expansion of their fleet and will bring greater efficiency and flexibility to operations.
