Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Refurbishment Enters Next Phase

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios is currently undergoing exterior refurbishment. Scaffolding has been erected to cover significant portions of the building, including its upper floors and iconic sign.

According to WDWMagic, the scaffolding now reaches all the way to the top of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. This expansion of the work comes after a recent update, which showed the scaffolding growing considerably since our last report.

The refurbishment is expected to be a multi-month project, with no timeline given for when the scaffolding will come down or whether more of the building will be covered before completion.

Despite the ongoing work, Tower of Terror remains operational, with no impact on wait times or ride operation. Disney has not provided any further information on the project's scope or expected outcome.
