Typhoon Dujuan Brings Widespread Disruptions to Tokyo Disney Resort Region

A powerful typhoon named Dujuan swept through Tokyo, Japan on Monday, causing widespread disruptions and forcing over 1.6 million residents to evacuate.

The storm brought torrential rain and damaging winds to the Kanto region, which includes Tokyo and neighboring Chiba Prefecture.

Tokyo Disney Resort, located in Urayasu, Chiba, was directly affected by the storm's effects, with guests experiencing strong gusts and heavy rainfall while trying to visit the theme park.

Hundreds of flights were canceled, including 135 flights from Japan Airlines and 140 flights from All Nippon Airways, leaving many visitors stranded at Tokyo's Haneda Airport.
