U.S. Stocks Rally Led by Basic Materials, Healthcare
U.S. stocks closed higher on Wednesday, driven by gains in key sectors such as Basic Materials, Healthcare, and Financials.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.56% to end at a positive note, while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite also saw modest gains of 0.46% and 0.45%, respectively.
NVIDIA Corporation led the pack with a 3.21% surge, followed by American Express Company and Caterpillar Inc., which rose 1.79% and 1.68%, respectively.
On the other hand, Honeywell International Inc. fell 1.86% to become one of the worst performers, along with 3M Company and Microsoft Corporation, which declined 0.88% and 0.84%, respectively.
