The United Arab Emirates ranks sixth globally among cyberattack targets, according to Microsoft's recent analysis. The US topped the ranking, followed by Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan, and the UK. India, Japan, Canada, Germany, Australia, and the Philippines were also among the 12 countries most frequently targeted.

The UAE was particularly highlighted in the report due to its expansion of artificial intelligence use in the public sector and industry. Microsoft emphasized that the data should strengthen cooperation with the UAE in countering hacker attacks, cybercrime, and other digital threats.

The company plans to deploy MDASH, a cybersecurity capability based on artificial intelligence, in Emirati government institutions. This move aims to help identify priority risks and respond to emerging threats more quickly and at greater scale.
