The United Arab Emirates is experiencing a surge in its indoor entertainment sector. The country has seen an influx of new attractions, including a Harry Potter-themed zone at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island.

This zone will include Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, and three rides, making it a major draw for families and fans of the popular franchise.

The UAE's indoor entertainment sector has seen significant growth in recent years, with earnings reaching $5.4 billion in 2024, up 17.2 percent from the previous year. The number of family entertainment centers has also increased, growing from 76 in 2022 to 311 in 2024.

The UAE's resident population expanded by 9.8 percent between 2022 and 2024, which could be contributing to the demand for indoor entertainment options.
