Nvidia's upcoming earnings report is expected to exceed Wall Street's expectations, according to UBS. The firm forecasts revenue of $94 billion to $95 billion for Nvidia's fiscal second-quarter, surpassing the company's current projection of $91 billion. This upward revision is attributed to steady demand for Blackwell, as the next-generation Rubin platform begins contributing sooner than anticipated.

UBS also expects Nvidia to guide revenue towards $107 billion to $108 billion in the October quarter. The firm's analysis suggests that Rubin shipments will accelerate to 500,000 GPUs per month as production of Blackwell gradually shifts to the newer architecture.

Nvidia's earnings call is expected to provide more insight into its long-term profit trajectory, including a potential path towards annual earnings per share exceeding $15 in 2027 and $20 in 2028. With this news, Nvidia shares edged up by 0.5% on Friday.
