UBS Keeps 'Buy' Rating on McDonald's as Growth Strategy Gains Traction
UBS has reaffirmed its 'Buy' rating on McDonald's stock, citing the company's growth strategy. The firm highlighted McDonald's NEXT plan, which focuses on driving same-store sales and guest count growth despite flat industry traffic.
The strategy emphasizes improved restaurant productivity and profitability through four pillars: menu, consumer, restaurant, and people. McDonald's provided select financial targets through 2030, several of which met or exceeded expectations.
UBS noted the company's focus on implementing strategic initiatives to improve U.S. sales performance and executing a restaurant remodel strategy to drive growth and franchisee profitability.
