UC Student's Co-op Experiences Fuel Her Human-Centered Design Career

Grace Nunn, a fifth-year communication design major at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), has had four co-op experiences with top companies in her field. Through these rotations, she has developed skills in human-centered design, accessibility, clarity, and representing diverse perspectives.

Nunn's most recent co-ops were at NELSON Worldwide, where she worked as an environmental graphic designer, producing wayfinding, signage, and graphic wallcoverings. She also had two co-op experiences with the Live Well Collaborative, a nonprofit human-centered design studio founded by UC and Procter & Gamble in 2007.

At Live Well Collaborative, Nunn worked on projects for the Council on Aging, Cincinnati Children's Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute, and Procter & Gamble. Her work focused on designing for specific audiences and played a key role in shaping her design approach.
