UFC Debut Win Doesn't Make Stan Dorsainvil Financially Independent

Stan Dorsainvil's UFC debut was a resounding success on Saturday night as he earned a unanimous decision victory against Gauge Young in Sacramento. The Haitian-American lightweight moved to 6-0 as a professional fighter, but his winnings were not enough to make him financially independent.

Dorsainvil received a standard $12,000 just for showing up and another $12,000 for winning, totaling $24,000. In comparison, top performers at the event took home significantly more: Anthony Hernandez and Gregory Rodrigues pocketed $50,000 bonuses for their Fight of the Night performance.

Despite his win, Dorsainvil admitted to still being a 'wage slave' in an interview after the fight, saying that he would continue working part-time at Home Depot. He also noted that any bonus money would go towards supporting his family, including buying a house for his mother.
