Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths Backs Protest Against Chevron

The Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths (UIY) has thrown its weight behind a planned protest against Chevron Nigeria Limited by Mrs. Vivian Eric Mene's Voice of Warri Kingdom Women Initiative (VWKWI).

The group condemned the intimidation of Mrs. Mene and her group, saying it does not serve the interest of Ugborodo Federated Communities.

In a statement, UIY President Comrade Okotie Joseph said Chevron's neglect and underdevelopment in Ugborodo Federated Communities is unacceptable.

The protest aims to bring Chevron to account for its actions, with the UIY backing the initiative as a way to promote the interest of Warri Kingdom.
