UnitedHealthcare (UHC) and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) have reached an agreement, ensuring no disruption in services for patients covered by UHC. The new deal is effective retroactively to April 1, 2026.

Texas Tech Physicians (TTP) opened discussions with UHC in early 2025 for their Amarillo, Lubbock, and Permian Basin clinics. According to Martin Clay, TTP's executive director, the primary commitment has been to patients' health and well-being.

Patients covered by UHC can continue receiving care from TTP's providers at in-network benefit levels. If you have a scheduled appointment, no action is necessary; keep your appointment as planned.
