UK Food Wholesaler Collapses into Administration After Six Years
A UK-based food wholesaler, Q Movers MFS Ltd, trading as Rylance Farm Foodservice, has entered administration after six years of business. The company supplied over 2,500 products to caterers across the UK and made more than 40,000 deliveries using a fleet of over 30 temperature-controlled vehicles.
The brands stocked by Q Movers included Walkers, Nestle, Tetley, Pepsi, Birds Eye, and Coca-Cola. In its latest accounts for the year ending October 31, 2024, the company reported a turnover of £16.8 million, down from £21.6 million the previous year.
Despite this decline in revenue, operating losses fell from £205,000 to around £32,000. The appointment of joint administrators Andrew David Rosler and Nick Clarkson of Ideal Corporate Solutions Limited was announced on September 3 by The Gazette.
