ULTRALOQ Unveils Next-Gen Smart Locks with UWB Hands-Free Entry

Smart lock brand ULTRALOQ has launched its next-generation smart lock collection, designed to redefine home entry with natural, intelligent, and trusted access solutions. The new collection includes three models: Bolt Mission, Bolt Pro, and Latch 5 Pro.

Bolt Mission is the first ultra-wideband (UWB) enabled smart lock on the market, featuring precise hands-free approach-to-unlock functionality. It uses a combination of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) discovery, UWB ranging, radar-based presence sensing, and local decision logic to detect the user's approach and unlock the door.

The other two models in the collection are Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro, which integrate with Apple Wallet or Samsung Wallet credentials. They allow users to leverage their phone as a digital key, providing a tap-to-unlock experience similar to contactless payments.

ULTRALOQ's new smart locks are available online through The Home Depot starting in October and will be compatible with leading smart home platforms, including Apple Home and Google Home. They also support individual access control through Samsung SmartThings, enabling users to manage access and automations across the household.
