UMSL Students Land Full-Time Jobs at Boeing After Internship

The University of Missouri St. Louis has launched a unique internship program in collaboration with Boeing's Defense, Space & Security division.

The program allowed four UMSL students to spend eight weeks learning the ins and outs of being a procurement agent for Boeing.

Mary Elliott, Malik Bowman, Myka Radford, and Sedny Sorm were part of the inaugural cohort and have since accepted full-time employment with Boeing months before their graduation.

Elliott stated that she was expecting administrative work but instead 'fully threw us into training, with real employees sending us real work.'
