United Airlines Deploys Boeing 737 MAX 8 in Guam Amid Fleet Transition
United Airlines has introduced its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft in Guam as part of a fleet transition across its Pacific network. The airline plans to replace its existing fleet of ten Boeing 737-800 aircraft serving Guam with ten 737 MAX 8 aircraft by the end of 2026.
The new aircraft will operate on key regional routes, supporting connectivity between Guam and destinations in Asia, including Tokyo-Narita, which is scheduled to start on April 30. The phased rollout across additional routes will occur in the coming months.
Each United Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 features a two-class layout with 164 seats, including United First and Economy cabins. Passengers will have access to onboard entertainment, seatback screens at every seat, USB charging ports, and Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones. Wi-Fi will also be available for purchase.
The introduction of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 marks an ongoing investment by United Airlines in its Pacific operations, with a focus on updating aircraft and maintaining connectivity across its regional network.
