UnitedHealth Group Incorporated (UNH) is a global healthcare company operating through four main segments, with a market cap of $352.7 billion.

The company's shares have slipped 14.9% from their 52-week high of $461.62 and have risen 2.7% over the past three months, lagging behind the State Street SPDR S&P Health Care Services ETF (XHS) 16.6% gain during the same time frame.

Despite recent fluctuations, UNH stock has fallen below its 50-day moving average since mid-July but remains above its 200-day moving average since last year.

The company reported better-than-expected Q2 2026 adjusted EPS of $6.38 and revenue reached $112 billion, with a 29% jump in Optum operating income to $4 billion.
