UnitedHealthcare Expands Behavioral Coaching Program to 13M Members
UnitedHealthcare has expanded its child and family behavioral coaching program to reach approximately 13 million eligible members, increasing access to early behavioral health support for children, teens, and caregivers.
The expansion follows increased interest from employers and families in behavioral health support options. The coaching program is intended to help support families with low-severity behavioral health concerns through early intervention and education.
The program offers up to four virtual coaching sessions per month, with appointments available within 48 hours, and unlimited secure messaging and educational resources. It also provides referrals to licensed clinicians when higher-level care is needed.
