Boeing has received an order for four MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopters from the US Air Force, marking the programme's first full-rate production award. This comes after the Air Force declared initial operational capability earlier this year.

The contract brings the total number of Grey Wolf helicopters under contract to 42. Boeing has delivered 27 aircraft so far.

Kathleen Jolivette, vice-president and general manager of Vertical Lift Programs at Boeing, said the award demonstrated the programme's readiness and supported ongoing fleet modernisation.
