US Awards Boeing $131.23 Billion Contract for F-15 Production
The United States Air Force (USAF) awarded Boeing a contract worth up to US$131.23 billion for the production, modernization, systems integration and sustainment of the F-15 Eagle.
This long-term agreement covers seven foreign customers through the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) mechanism, including Indonesia and Poland.
Indonesia had previously pursued an F-15EX purchase but Boeing said it was no longer active after the campaign stalled. However, its inclusion in the contract preserves the option for a future sale through the FMS mechanism.
Poland has shown interest in the F-15EX, but according to the Ministry of National Defense, there is no plan or active process to acquire the aircraft at this time.
