US Equities Close Higher on Monday
U.S. equities closed higher on Monday, driven by gains in the Technology, Consumer Services, and Industrials sectors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.71%, with NVIDIA Corporation leading the pack at 2.29% or $5.08 per share to trade at $227.35.
Amazon.com Inc also performed well, increasing by 1.87% or $4.74 to settle at $258.45 in late trade.
In contrast, Chevron Corp was the biggest loser, falling 2.79% or $5.84 to trade at $203.67 in late trade.
