US Firm Secretly Sends Mercenaries and Drones to Sudan's Genocide- Accused Forces

A US company secretly transported mercenaries, weapons, and drones to Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a group accused of genocide in Darfur. The findings come from a UN report that tracked the movements of three Boeing 727s linked to Contractor Airways, a South African firm owned by former US Army Special Forces soldier Steven Shaulis.

The planes were seen transporting RSF fighters and mercenaries, as well as military equipment including drones and weapons, between Chad and Sudan. The UN report cited eyewitnesses in Nyala, the group's main hub, and reports from two member states as sources of the information.

The civil war in Sudan began in 2023, with hundreds of thousands estimated dead since then. The RSF is accused of committing genocide in Darfur, a charge also levelled at Colombian mercenaries hired by a UAE-based firm.
