US Markets Set for Gap-Up Opening as Boeing Soars
US markets are set for a gap-up opening on Wednesday, September 30, as investors focus on the personal consumption expenditure data and steady US Treasury yields. The Dow Jones futures were trading around 200 points higher at 51,898 points ahead of the opening bell.
The S&P 500 futures were trading 0.29% higher at 7,754.25 points, while the Nasdaq 100 index futures was trading 0.34% higher at 30,710.25 points.
Shares of Boeing surged more than 2.5% during pre-market hours as investors focused on the company securing a deal with the US defense department to develop the next generation of fighter jets.
Concentrix shares declined more than 7% during pre-market hours ahead of opening bell, as the company's revenue for its fiscal third-quarter earnings report turned up below market expectations.
