US stock markets were in flux on Thursday as companies continued to report their quarterly earnings results. The S&P 500 rose 0.2% and is close to its record high set on Tuesday, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 21 points, or less than 0.1%, after initially rising.

Keurig Dr Pepper and Molson Coors both saw their shares increase by 1% as they reported earnings and revenue that exceeded investor expectations. However, Honeywell Aerospace's results were disappointing, with its stock falling 21%. AppLovin's digital ad business also struggled, dropping 19.6% after releasing mixed financial results.

Elsewhere in the market, SpaceX's shares rose 0.6%, despite being down about 25% from their initial public offering price of $150. Over 911 million shares held by early investors and employees became eligible for sale as a lockup period expired.
