US Stocks Bounce Ahead of Jobs Report as Yields and Oil Prices Ease
US stock index futures rose on Friday, October 2, ahead of the September US jobs report, as investors sought clues about the country's economic health and the Federal Reserve's interest-rate path.
The Dow futures were up 259 points, or 0.51%, at 4:59 a.m. ET, while S&P 500 futures gained 0.50% in early trading.
Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.83% in early Friday trading, supported by gains in several major technology stocks, including Nvidia, Broadcom, and AMD.
