US Stocks Mixed as Dow Rises 0.07%, Intel and Nvidia Lead Gains

The US stock market saw a mixed bag of results on Wednesday, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.07% to 51,384.95, while the Nasdaq Composite increased by 1.05% to 26,956.78.

The S&P 500 index added 0.36% to reach 7,698.19, with Intel leading the Dow's gainers with a 1.67% increase in price, followed closely by Nvidia at 1.43%, Microsoft at 1.34%, and Apple at 1.31%.

However, not all companies fared well, as UnitedHealth declined by 2.04% and Visa dropped by 1.12%

The core PCE inflation rate came in lower than expected at 3%, while the month-over-month PCE inflation was up by 0.2%. The annualized growth rate for US Q2 GDP was revised to 2.2%.
